These quadrilaterals are simple polygons.
Polygons are "closed," flat (two-dimensional) shapes made of straight lines.
These quadrilaterals are first categorized by how many pairs of parallel lines they contain.
Example: Rectangles, squares and rhombuses are all
parallelograms (they have 2 pairs of parallel lines).
