Bottle Flip Exercise Game:
You play this game against the person in the video. You can invite 1 or 2 members of your household to play. You will need one plastic water bottle filled up ⅓ full with water, capped with a lid. The object of the game is to see who can flip the bottle over with it landing right side up the most times in one minute. Each person gets one minute to complete this After each person goes, play several rounds to compete against each other or the person in the video. Video: Bottle Flip Chaos Rules: For every 3 jumping jacks you complete, you earn 2 bottle flips. Each time you land the bottle, you earn 1 point. How many times can you land the bottle in 1 minute? "Fan Favorite" and the "Pillow Flipper Game"
When you're sitting down, you are at rest. Put your hand over the middle of your chest and press on your chest to see if you can feel your heartbeat. Is it slow, medium, or fast? Watch either of the videos below (click on the name of the game). Play one round. Safety tip: Clear the area and floor of loose items. For “Fan Favorite," you'll need the following items: 1 plastic grocery bag (the lighter the bag the better) 2 paper balls 1 book or magazine Paper and pencil, number from 1-9 Or... For the "Pillow Flipper Game," you'll need a pillow. As soon as you finish the game, put your hand over your chest again and feel your heartbeat. Is it slow, medium, or fast? Play 2 more rounds of either game. Feel your heartbeat... is it slow, medium, or fast? You just exercised your heart by making it work hard and beat fast when you played the game! You helped pump blood to your body to make it strong. Make sure you find something to make your heart beat faster for 5 days a week, 30 minutes a day! |
